Membership of the Society is open to all individuals internationally who are interested in mine ventilation engineering and actively participating in the discipline. There are six classes of membership:
- Student
- Associates
- Members
- Fellows
- Retired members
- Honorary Life Fellows
- Persons or Institutions may subscribe to the MVSSA technical publications without enrolling as a member of the Society.
